Home Staging Explained.
Dressing Your Property
Are you struggling to sell or let your home or investment property? Trying to sell or let an empty or sparsely furnished house can sometimes prove difficult, with buyers finding it hard to visualise what your property really has to offer.
Home staging involves furnishing and dressing your property to maximise it's marketing potential. In addition, you normally recover the cost of home staging through an improved price.
Our Home Staging Service
Emblem Furniture’s Home Staging Service involves comprehensively furnishing and dressing your property:
Furnishing includes supplying all of the necessary rental furniture required for each area of your home, including; reception, dining, study, bedroom, and ancillary areas.
Dressing includes a comprehensive make-over and design service for all rooms, including; bed covers, selected artwork, rugs, mirrors, etc. Additionally we further dress all of the rooms with selected objet d’art and other staging accessories to add that final touch of magic to give your property the 'wow' factor.
Benefits of Home Staging
- The time taken to sell your property is normally greatly improved.
- Properties that are well presented can achieve between 10-15 percent more than comparable properties, which are poorly presented.
- Buyers first impressions are a key factor in selling your home. A staged home provides a vastly improved initial impression and therefore enhances the prospect of early success.
- A staged home photographs better than a non-staged home, making it more appealing for both print and internet marketing.
We normally recommend a minimum marketing period of between 2-3 months. Even if you’re successful in the first week, it’s prudent to keep the furniture in situ until you’ve exchanged contracts, which can take anywhere from 6-8 weeks. You also have the option to extend your marketing period on a month-by-month basis if you need to.
