Terms and Conditions - Furniture Rental |

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all rental items provided by Emblem Furniture Ltd, including - but not limited to - rental furniture, dressing accessories, objets d’art, electrical equipment, and white goods.

Quotations |

2.1 |
Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of preparation. |
|
|
|
3. |
Payments and Deposits |
|
|
|
|
3.1 |
The hirer is required to make quarterly payments in advance (including VAT) with the initial payment to include an agreed security deposit, with cleared funds received prior to delivery. Subsequent payments are also to be made quarterly in advance, unless agreed upon in writing. |

|
|
3.2 |
Payments to Emblem Furniture Ltd can be made by way of bank transfer, cheque, or credit card. The latter is subject to a 2.5% processing fee. |
|
|
|
|
3.3 |
The security deposit will be held against any damage or loss incurred during the furniture hire period, and will be returned following the collection of the goods at the conclusion of the hire period. No deductions will be made against 'fair wear and tear'. |

|
|
4. |
Contract Termination |
|
|
|
|
4.1 |
This contract may be terminated subject to 14 days notice. If the contract is terminated prior to the minimum agreed hire period being completed, the hirer will pay the balance of the rental repayments for the minimum agreed period. |

|
5. |
Contract Expiration |
|
|
|
|
5.1 |
On expiration of the contract, the hirer has the option to extend the furniture rental term in 30 day increments subject to agreement. A monthly extension rate can be supplied upon request. |

|
|
|
5.2 |
On expiration of the contract, the hirer also has the option to purchase the goods subject to agreement. A purchase figure can be supplied upon request. |
|
|
|
6. |
Insurance |
|
|
|
|
6.1 |
It is the hirer's responsibility to insure the goods against damage or loss during the hire period. Emblem Furniture Ltd can arrange insurance cover upon request. |
|
|
|
7. |
Ownership |
|
|
|
|
7.1 |
All goods remain the property of Emblem Furniture Ltd at all times. |
|
|
|
|
7.2 |
All Goods shall be kept at the address where installed by Emblem Furniture Ltd for the duration of the hire, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. |

|
|
8. |
Delivery and Installation |
|
|
|
|
8.1 |
Delivery charges are determined on mileage. |
|
|
|
|
8.2 |
Any work required to be undertaken 'out of hours' may attract an additional charge. |
|
|
|
|
8.3 |
The fixing of pictures, mirrors, accessories and objets d’art (to include all window treatments) is undertaken at the hirer’s own risk and Emblem Furniture Ltd does not accept any liability for any damage caused whatsoever. |

8.4 |
The installation and removal of the Goods, within the delivery address, is undertaken at the hirer's own risk and Emblem Furniture Ltd. does not accept any liability for any damage whatsoever.

9. |
Collection of Goods |
|
|
|
|
9.1 |
Emblem Furniture Ltd requires at least 14 days notice to collect the goods. |
|
|
|
|
9.2 |
The hirer is liable for any damage to the goods and will be charged accordingly. |
|
|
|
|
9.3 |
All linen and bathroom packs must be professionally laundered upon return. |
